An Example of Faith

Word of the Colossians' faith spread far and wide. (Colossians 1:3-8) So will ours, to believers and unbelievers alike.

An Example of Works

Truly, faith and works cannot be separated. Faith without works is dead. (James 2:14-18) The community will know the Southside Church by its works, just like the Colossians were known. (Colossians 1:9-12)

The New Testament's Pattern

The pattern of words spoken by the apostles is meant to remain the same. It did in Colossae. (Colossians 1:21-23) It will at Southside, as well.

The Light of Christ

The Colossians were a light for the hope in Christ. (Colossians 1:25-28) Likewise, we long for every person to be complete in Christ!
